Production Personnel

J.B. Gibbs currently has eight crews in operation.  All Foremen are OQ Certified, Certified Fusers, and DOT Licensed.  They are continually tested by Industrial Training Services Online Certification program.  We offer extensive training and re-certification to all employees of J. B. Gibbs & Son on a regular schedule.  Each crew holds detailed Safety Meetings weekly with all  employees.  Over Fifty percent of our Foreman have been with the company since it’s inception in 1992.  

Our Welders successfully certify twice each year in testing by World Testing, Inc.  They vary in experience from fifteen years to over forty years in gas line welding.  All our welders are also certified as Fusers and are OQ Certified.   

Each Operator with J.B. Gibbs has extensive training in operating heavy equipment.  We have only highly trained, experienced, operators working in natural gas sensitive areas.  Our Equipment Operators are also OQ Certified and some hold Fuser Certificates. 

General Laborers are given training and general knowledge skills needed to assist in proper installation and utility construction.  As our other employees even our Laborers are OQ Certified and some hold Fusing Certificates.    

Our Drafters have been through extensive training on proper procedures for drawing out completed jobs.  Their work has been praised by our customers as being very accurate, clearly legible, and detail oriented.  And now they are also trained in the Locusview Digital Construction Management Software.  We are able to keep accurate records on all jobs completed for future references.
